Vienna core zone

The Vienna core zone covers all public transport in Vienna, i.e. buses, trams, underground trains, the Badner Bahn and ÖBB trains, as well as most regional bus routes. Exceptions are journeys to and from Vienna Airport (core zone boundary Schwechat), airport buses, Flixbus, City Airport Train (CAT), tourist transport, RegioJet and Westbahn.

How to get to Vienna Airport and from the airport to the city

Vienna Airport is located outside the Vienna core zone. This means that you need a separate ticket for journey to/from the airport. 

You can use the following modes of transport to get to/from the airport. Please make sure that you have a valid ticket for your chosen mode of transport.
