Song Contest 2026 in Vienna
until the final
Public transport during the Song Contest
To coincide with the Eurovision Song Contest, Wiener Linien is stepping up its services: throughout the ESC week, the underground will run at shorter intervals to ensure a comfortable journey to and from the venue for all passengers.
There will also be changes to the tram service. For the rehearsal on Friday and the final on Saturday, tram lines 6, 18 and 49 will operate with extended hours until around 2.00 am.
For the final, the underground service will be further expanded: lines U2 and U6 will run at 5-minute intervals until around 2.00 am. Lines U1, U3 and U4 will run at 7.5-minute intervals until around 2.30 am.
Up-to-date information on operating hours and intervals can be found at wienmobil.atOpens in a new tab and in the WienMobil app.
