Fare adjustments

Wiener Linien transports approximately 2.5 million people safely, quickly, and reliably to their destinations every day. To ensure the long-term stability of this high-quality service, fares will be adjusted to reflect general price trends effective January 1, 2027. For the first time, this adjustment will be made as part of the annual indexation -based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) - that was announced back in 2025.
