When and where is the ticket valid?
Travel freely on Vienna's public transport on all public transport services in the core zone of Vienna for 24 hours.
If you have a paper ticket, you must validate it before your first journey. Once validated, it is valid for 24 hours. If you purchased your ticket online from the WienMobil ticket shop or in the WienMobil app, the period of validity is stated on the ticket.
Digital tickets purchased in the WienMobil ticket shop or in the WienMobil app are issued to one person and are only valid in conjunction with an official photo ID bearing the passenger's name. They are therefore non-transferable.
