After more than three years of research and testing, the auto.Bus - Seestadt project will come to an end on June 30, 2021. On June 23, 2021, the two autonomous e-buses were on the road in the Seestadt Aspern for the last time. In a few days, the project team will present its research results.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all passengers, experts and employees who made this exciting project possible in the first place.
The research project auto.Bus - Seestadt
The auto.Bus – Seestadt project aims to enhance the operational quality of future autonomous bus routes by means of planned technological innovations. The goal is to sustainably increase the efficiency and operational safety of autonomous vehicles, with the ultimate goal of testing a bus line in Seestadt under real conditions – with stops, timetables and, of course, passengers.
The auto.Bus – Seestadt research project is being funded by the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology as part of the “Mobility of the Future” scheme.
